Message from JUSE

Celebrating 80 Years of Impact in Quality (1946–2026)

The Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2026.
To mark this significant milestone, a Commemorative Lecture and Celebration Reception will be held on May 19, 2026, in Tokyo.

Since its establishment in 1946, JUSE has played a pivotal role in the development and global dissemination of quality management, including the Deming Prize and TQM practices.
This anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on its legacy and to look ahead to the future of quality, innovation, and sustainable development.

EOQ’s Congratulations and Appreciation

EOQ warmly congratulates JUSE on eight decades of leadership and excellence.
Through its pioneering work, JUSE has had a profound and lasting impact on global quality management, including Europe’s own evolution toward modern approaches to organizational excellence.

EOQ looks forward to continuing its long-standing collaboration with JUSE and to strengthening the ties between the European and Japanese quality communities in the years ahead.
